Microchip: ISO 11784/11785, required before vaccination (dogs)

Rabies Vaccination: Required for dogs (Thailand = CDC high-risk); not federally required for cats

1st Rabies Vaccination: After microchip; dog must be 6+ months old at US entry

2nd Rabies Vaccination: Only if titer fails
Blood Sampling: 30+ days after vaccination -
Rabies Titer Test: Required for dogs (CDC-approved lab, ≥0.5 IU/ml)

Waiting Period: Titer draw 28+ days before travel
Import Permit: CDC Dog Import Form (online, before travel); no USDA permit -
Quarantine: 28 days at CDC-registered facility only if no valid titer
